As the national debate regarding climate change rages on, here in Door County the Climate Change Coalition has found some solid footing. Because climate change or global warming has become such a major political talking point over the last decade, some counties have shied away from taking a firm stance. But Virge Temme with the Climate Change Coalition of Door County discusses why the area has been so supportive of the coalition.
The group continues to put together thought provoking programs. On Wednesday, Curt Witynski, assistant director of the League of Wisconsin Municipalities will speak at the monthly program. His talk “Wisconsin’s Most Innovative Local Governments: Green Tier Legacy Communities” will start at 7 pm in the City of Sturgeon Bay Council Chambers.
