The Jim Olson Motors is (5-0) for incredible crowds to start the 2016 season. The team may be (3-2) but Packers fans love their team and show up to support their players every Monday in a big way. The Chrysler Store had nearly 100 chairs set up in the showroom and 20-plus were still forced to stand to watch the show Monday.
The “Youth Sports Team of the Week” was Sturgeon Bay fourth through sixth grade football. The season just ended for the Clippers and the players learned a lot this season. Coaches Henry, Barganz, and Starr talked about each team and every player in attendance not only got a chance to be on the radio but also got autographs from our two player guests.
Brett Hundley and Dean Lowry had a lot to say to the youth football players about growth and development. They urged parents and students to play multiple sports and play football for nothing more than the love of the game.
Lowry admitted the Dallas Cowboys had the best offensive line he has ever played against in his life. Hundley said Aaron Rodgers will be fine and that the team is finding its identity.
The Red Zone takes next Monday off as the players are given a mini bye week with a Thursday night game this week. We will resume on Halloween (October 31) at the GM store.
