A former Green Bay Packer is lending a hand to Sturgeon Bay High School boys through his organization My Brother’s Keeper. Harry Sydney recently visited the high school to introduce the mentoring program to students thanks to grants from Door County Medical Center and The Raibrook Foundation. Sturgeon Bay School District Superintendent Dan Tjernagel says the mentoring will be great for many of the students to experience.
The program through My Brother’s Keeper is free for students with permission from their parent or guardian. The twice-monthly sessions will run the rest of the school year. My Brother’s Keeper was founded in 2003 and has helped over 9,300 men and boys.
